Do you have the latest system updates installed? Have you experienced this playing video in fullscreen? When the client freezes do you lose complete control of the system other than the mouse? (I'm aware of a pre-existing issue in Snow Leopard around these symptoms) In the mean time, have you tried looking in your console? from Applications - > Utilities -> Console Filter on "OutputDebugStringA" and see if you have any exceptions at the time the client freezes. Let me or the GMs know about them :)

There will be an update tomorrow with fixes to some of the issues you are all experiencing. If you are still experiencing this after Tuesday downtime, please reply in this thread and together we can get this fixed. I haven't experienced this yet and I work on my mac everyday and without experiencing it, It's difficult to get it fixed and make sure it's been fixed. So in the short term some more information about this bug would really help me: 1) Are you playing in windowed mode? 2) Are you playing in fullscreen and CMD + Tab'ing? 3) What is the specification of your machine? 4) What version of OS X are you using? Lastly if some of you could make bug reports with cider logs, it would help me greatly.

So far i've been able to do this by having a lot of players shoot me on sisi for a long period of time. If there are any of you who can give me a clue as to what is most likely to cause this freeze, it would help me a lot. I did attempt this using uTorrent and succesfully obtained a new copy of ubuntu. This didnt do it for me. Do you mean ~Users/User/Library/Application Support/ I have no ~/Library/Application Data/ folder anywhere , and ~/Library/Application Support/ has no Eve folder yes
